Open the Door to Healing:

November is a month for gratitude, and at Telos, we’re grateful every day for the families who trust us during one of the hardest seasons of their lives.

For more than 20 years, Telos has helped adolescents and young adults find stability, healing, peace, and hope through relationship-based, evidence-based care. We know it works because we measure it: families tell us one year after treatment that Telos helped their family and that choosing Telos was the right decision.

This year, Telos expanded its reach. Our new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) serve teens and young adults ages 14–26 at our South Campus in Orem. These programs bring Telos’s proven approach to students who live locally and dependent on insurance coverage.

This exciting growth also means we meet more families who can’t afford to get through the door. Sometimes the barrier to access care it’s much smaller than you’d think.

This Giving Tuesday, we’ve set a stretch goal of $100,000 in scholarships. Through our partner Choose Mental Health, a 501(c)(3), 100% of your tax-deductible gift goes directly to student treatment.

Where your gift goes:

• Open the door.
  For many families, the insurance deductible is the only thing standing between their child and care. Covering that deductible unlocks insurance benefits, and often months of covered treatment, for a student who would otherwise get none.
  
• Bridge the gap.
  Insurance coverage doesn’t always last as long as healing does. A scholarship can help a student step down from residential care into PHP or IOP, so the progress they’ve worked so hard for doesn’t unravel when coverage ends.
  
• Finish strong.
  Life doesn’t pause for treatment. A job loss, a medical crisis, or another unexpected hardship can threaten a family’s ability to see treatment through to the end. A scholarship can cover that final month so a student finishes what they started, with their family beside them.

Every gift matters
Whether you give $25 or $2,500, your gift helps a Telos student start, continue, or finish treatment, and it tells families walking a hard road that they aren’t walking it alone.
